Chemicals All of our own brand chemicals are as Environmentally Friendly as they can be for the Job at hand. They have the best possible Bio-accumulation ratings for aquatic marine life and are fully biodegradable into the Ecosystem. In the chemical products requiring harsh surfactants, such as Caustic and Sodium Hypo chloride solutions, we have either used the very least amount possible or substituted the components to create the solution without affecting the results! We take back your empty plastic containers and make them into the black sacks that you buy from us! Paper All the paper we sell is recycled and made from paper that has been reclaimed or at worst comes from managed forestry schemes. Our suppliers are required to supply us with evidence of this. We have personally visited their mills and seen at first hand their commitment to the Environment. Did you know? Approximately 84 billion sheets of waste office paper go into Toilet paper products per year! If you don�t already, recycle your waste office paper! Refuse Sacks Our core range of Refuse sacks are all Recycled and/or Bio degradable. They are made from some of the empty plastic containers that we bring back from you the customer! We have a full range of sacks and bags, made from Biodegradable and Recycled material. We have a range of Corn-Starch bags for contract users. These will biodegrade with 6 weeks if buried! Did you know? A standard non-recycled Virgin bag will take over 75 years to biodegrade in the ground and will omit roughly the same amount of Carbon that a typical two hour plane journey does! Janitorial Supplies A lot of janitorial supplies cannot be that Eco friendly, but there are new innovations all the time that are tackling this. Cloth wipers are made with the most up to date Eco methods. Products like Micro fibre are the best way to achieve the least amount of chemical usage whilst achieving amazing results. We also source as much of our supplies from the UK and avoid as much as possible cheap imports that would bring into question a customers Corporate Social Responsibility. Did you know? Catering Supplies & Equipment We can supply a full and comprehensive range of Catering Supplies and Heavy Equipment. We work closely with a project design company for Kitchen re-fits and bespoke design work. We fully recommend them for their depth of service and they work like us! Pumps and Dispensers Northern Environmental can provide a full and comprehensive range of Pump equipment and Dispensers for all your Kitchen, House keeping, Washroom, Air and Hand Care products. You can buy these products or you can enter into a contract of supply with us. This is a simple but binding agreement, we supply and maintain the items �free on loan� to you. All you have to do is purchase your supplies from us and we will cover you for breakdown of the equipment and service it at least once a year. We see it as a good insurance policy for your machinery, if there is genuinely something wrong with our equipment, then you know that you are covered by us to fix it. As with all legally binding agreements, please seek professional advice before signing. A copy of the Terms and Conditions of Supply are available. We reflect the costs for the equipment in your price structure; the prices are fixed for at least 12 months and dependent upon usage and frequency of supply. Recycling Process � How it works Being Environmentally Friendly is not just about supply, it is also about managing your waste and the effects it has on the local Eco system after you have disposed of its contents and container.

You already know that the contents are going to be good to the aquatic life and the environment as a whole, but what about the container? We take back the container and recycle it back to our polythene suppliers, they then use the material to make the Refuse sacks that you buy from us! This is not only a good recycling measure but it will also save you money on your waste collection bill! We strongly recommend the benefits of �bailing� to businesses, taking a little extra time to segregate your waste will not only be a benefit to the Environment but also potentially make you money in the process!
