Organic herbal skincare hand-made superbly with herbs from our garden. No nasties. Our Physicks are pure, nourishing and natural. They are designed with care by our medical herbalist to nurture you and your very important skin. Your skin, after all, is your body's primary protection, an extraordinary layer which battles daily with the destructive forces of climate, pollution, stress and ageing. It needs a little assistance! All our Physicks follow the herbalists' theory of 'simples': the traditional use of as few ingredients as possible, all of them plant-derived and unadulterated, each in sufficient quantity to enable it to do its job. We're interested in fresh, local, organically produced plants. If you care what you put into your body, you should care equally strongly about what you put on it. It sinks in. The plants we use are as fresh as we can find - because that means their power is at its strongest. We concentrate on what can be grown in the traditional country garden. We harvest what we can in our organic garden or source as locally as possible. It makes our physicks good enough to eat. Real skin food. Our aim is to let you see, touch, smell and feel the benefit of the traditional garden through our fabulous Physicks with their natural, nourishing properties and soothing fragrances. We believe there is nothing better than Great Elm Physick Garden skincare. There's certainly nothing nasty about it! We do not use parabens, SLSs, petrochemical derivatives, mineral oils, lanolin, chemical dyes, fillers, aromas, parfums, artificial preservatives. We test only on willing human beings.
