We are a heating company specialising in renewable energies - predominantly biofuel Harold wood and Sons have been established for over seventy years, ownership remaining with in same family in all that time.

The comapny is now owned by the grand-daughter of the founder. In recent years it has become obvious that energy sources need to be carefully utilised. The owners of the company thus started the long road to ensuring that all their products that are sold have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible.

This has been achieved in numerous ways; heating systems (utilising gas) that are as efficient as possible; use of "traditional" renewable energies (wind, solar and air); ensuring, where possible that local suppliers are used instead of importing un-necessarily and finally the promotion of wood burning appliances as a truely viable renewable and ultimately sustainable heat source. In a very recent meeting with a representative from a group of local farmers, a new biofuel was located. This fuel is produced from the by-products of Rape Seed harvesting, grown locally and processed locally.
