As an adviser of solar electrical panels it is important to look at the big green picture when offering our service.

Ethical Solar minimise the environmental impact of our everyday working practices, source the most environmentally friendly products, and offer a value driven, honest and reliable service. We offer free advice without any expectation and won’t install a solar system unless you have the right location for one.

Ethical Solar accepts responsibility for the harmful effects its operations have on both the local and global environment and is committed to minimising them. In short, we aim to live up to our name.

We abide by and promote sustainable, fair, honest and responsible business practices. We aim to achieve this through the following measures:

Convert and run all company vehicles on waste cooking oil. Research and source products based on the retailers’ environmental record and policy. Donate 5% of our profits to Solar Aid (www.solaraid.org), an organisation that supports solar energy in the developing world and runs educational projects about solar energy in the UK. Communicate by email whenever possible and use recycled paper from sustainable sources. Recycle all waste materials that can be recycled and use the Freecycle network. Maintain our accreditation from the Ethical Company Organisation. Lead the field in sustainable practices and encourage retailers and those we work with to adopt similar environmental principles as those listed here.
