A community supported agricultural scheme.
We are a not-for-profit local community food project, growing seasonal, organic fruit and vegetables for the local community whilst involving them in the process of food production.
Better for people - local employment opportunities; closer relationship between grower and consumer; fresher, more nutritious food; access to local farmland and countryside; better deal for farmers Better for the environment - lower food miles; less damage to ecosystems from pesticides and fertilisers; increased biodiversity through organic farming
