Biodiversity is also a priority, and they encourage the use of indigenous plants, and natural methods of pest and disease control, to create wildlife-friendly environments. For hard landscaping projects they choose their materials with care to minimise the ecological footprint, and promote the use of recycled aggregates, rammed earth, dry stone walling and lime mortar.
